self introduction

Part 1: Bio

I am interested in taking long naps and going to Papa Rotis and watching historical dramas. I care about my family.

Language lets me talk with other people, share ideas, and make friends.

I think it is important to study language because you can grasp how to use it more effectively, with greater impact, such as in essays and research papers.

The language barriers I have encountered mainly comes from when I try to talk with my great grandmother who cannot (or refuses to) speak English, and with other older relatives and family friends.

Part 2: Goal Setting

Something new that I will try this year is to pass math class and to eat more fruit.

I will learn how to manage my time and make the most of all the opportunities I have. I hope all these skills will turn out to be valuable, and that my time here teaches me how to be independent.

My goal in language and literature is to learn how to become a better, more sophisticated writer, who can express my thoughts efficiently and with style. I don't plan on becoming a proper author or anything, I just think that writing should be a skill that everyone should have.
